I caught this P-51 Mustang and F-16 high over the Winter Hill section of Somerville a few minutes before the ceremonial flyover. The pilots, from the Air Force’s Heritage Flight team, based out of Hanscom, seemed to be circling over Somerville in preparation for the flyover. Here are my photos snapped with an 800mm lens.
Boston College priests, Fr. Tony Penna and Fr. Don MacMillan, who had known Franco Garcia, the missing BC student, for four years, offered prayers over his body at the edge of the reservoir that claimed his life. I was positioned on Reservoir road overlooking the tragic scene. Below is my photo.
