Some Interesting Light After This Evening’s Thunderstorm.

I was hoping to capture a lightning bolt, or two, in my Canon camera this evening. The elusive lightning won, no bolt was captured tonight. The light after the storm however, was very impressive. Here are a few photos I snapped this evening. Thanks for viewing.

Answer: They were all within 1 mile of each other on this date in 2009 and, most importantly, were all photographed by me within hours of each other. All photographs for the Boston Herald.

On This Date in My Photo History: April 16, 2002

(04/16/02-Boston,MA)  Zakim Bridge nears completion. Construction crews work on the northbound lane of the Leonard p. Zakim Freedom Bridge.

The bridge would eventually be completed that same year and fully opened in December 2003.

Boston Firefighters Pluck Worker Off Newbury St Roof…

It all went down yesterday afternoon as this worker, injured on the roof at 155 Newbury Street, was aided by the good people of Engine 33 and Tower Ladder 17. Caused quite a stir on Newbury St.
